Andy Partridge has great stage fright (although I believe he has played live, but very seldom, with his more famous band, XTC).

I just saw a clip of the final 30 seconds or so of the last time that XTC played live in an electric/full-blown/concert setting.

Right in the middle of "Respectable Street", Andy puts down his guitar and stumbles off-stage. And that, as they say,.....was that.

19. I saw them two nights in a row at a suburban Chicago club...
Called 'Haymakers'. Can't remember who else played.

Then a year or so later, I saw them at the University of Illinois-Chicago in the Student Center. That would have been just before the end of their touring days. Nobody opened that show. What fun.
