Apparently so. I happend to run across a site called www.conservativepunk.com. As you can guess, this is a republican "punk" website. I'm asking myself "I thought punks rebelled against the system, not kissed it's ass".

3. Only in the conservative punk movement
which I guess makes conservative punks double punks because they started left and rebelled against the punk movement and ended up conservative.

Everything's cyclical you know...

8. I wonder what conservative punks sing about?
Your right. From what I know, most punk is anti-establishment. Conservatives should be anathema to punkers.

9. maybe by "punk"
they mean punk like Blink 182. Not real punk like NOFX, Anti-Flag, Sex Pistols, and to a lesser extent, Johnny Cash. Yes, Johnny Cash was more punk rock than all of em and he could kick every one of their asses.

15. All Conservative, No Punk
Edited on Sat Mar-27-04 12:30 AM by Lizz612
One blurb about a conservative band being band from a club in Chicago and The Triple Rock in Minneapolis. And a link to the Johnny Ramone :puke: interview. Thats it, not even a music section. What trash.

16. Well there are Christian Punk bands
They Call it Core Praise...big in Orange Cty.

However, not all Christian Punks are Conservative. My brother works with one who's fairly leftish, and his band is all lefty too.
