8. I remember the skies wept.

Rain on the false inauguration of the Great Pretender.

The media's cameras zoomed in to cut the protesters out of the picture.

That, more than anything, was when I felt it in the pit of my stomach.

"Uh oh."

"This is not at all the country I thought it was."

Time to stand up and fight for democracy.
