Craigslist post forwarded by a friend is crawling with red flags

1). "$300 for 8 hours of coverage in San Jose and Santa Clara"...$37.50 an hour for a photographer worth a damn? Also, what is "coverage in San Jose and Santa Clara"...my driving all over Silicon Valley and burning up $37.50 an hour in gas money?

2). "all footage shot will be handed at the end of the day in exchange for payment. Copyright of photos will belong to company."...most professional photographers don't work this way, and if they do, it's not for $37.50 an hour.

3). "Copyright of photos will belong to company." See #2 above.

4). "Please email list of gear and portfolio/samples if any."...Send you a list of my gear so you can somehow track me and come to my house and rob me of whatever you like the looks of on my list?

In all fairness, my friend has been encouraging me to do more with my photography and saw this as an opportunity. I see it as highly suspicious. I have a friend who is a professional photographer and he charges $350 to SHOW UP...the first hour is $350 minimum and subsequent shots / time are billed accordingly.

I am looking for a photographer to join our team for this day. $300 for 8 hours of coverage in San Jose and Santa Clara. Media cards will be provided and all footage shot will be handed at the end of the day in exchange for payment. Copyright of photos will belong to company. If we work well together and you shoot good photos then there will be future work.
