I'm Going to a Party Central Committee Meeting This Morning

I'm co-chair of my precinct, and we're all meeting this morning to discuss plans for the upcoming caucuses. I'll post a full report later today.

Just a reminder - if you're not already active in your local Democratic Party, get involved. We need to really turn out the vote this November, and send Republicans packing at all levels of government.

3. I Promised I'd Report Back

The Central Committee meeting was fairly well attended. I met John Salazar there - he's Ken Salazar's brother, and is running to replace Scott McPinhead in Congress. If he's elected and his brother is elected to the Senate, it will be one of the first times that Hispanic siblings have been in both hoses of Congress at the same time - if not the first.

All I know is the precinct chairs are motivaited - now all we have to do is get the people in our precencts to come to the caucus on April 13th.

After that, it's the County Assembly on May 1st. And I found out today that the State Convention is being held in Pueblo this year for the first time since 1996 (May 20 - 22). I'm going to try to be a delegate at both.
