1. Yeah, I hear you

I'm a Journey Fan, and a Steve Perry fan, but I can't stand to hear songs overplayed and hackneyed in the name of commerce. If i hear another commercial with an adaptation of "La Bamba", I'm putting my foot through the TV. :)

2. The one I hated

was the jeans commercial with the opening lines of "Fortunate Son". My husband finally turned off the commercial whenever it started because he knew if he didn't, I'd sing the rest of the song and start taunting the TV to tell the truth about what the song really meant.

That first time I heard it, I thought, Wow I havn't heard this song in a long time. It came out when I was in high school. After about the third time, I was ready to throw something through the TV.
