No, the President WAS right when he said that terrorism wasn't an urgent concern for us. And, yes, we WERE paying the appropriate level of attention to terrorism and al-Quaeda prior to 9/11. You have to be able to think in two dimensions at the same time. Not like 20-20 hindsight but more like stereoscoptic viewfinders. When you look at both pictures, which look different and seem apart even on the roll of slides, . . . that is, when you look at them the same time, they're not only together, but they let you see in three dimensions, that is if you take into account the time you are also in. See?"
