Thanks again to all who posted when my wife was hospitalized....seems

she had extremely low potassium and went into spasms from it. Evidently, due to her Crohn's disease surgeries and liver problems she does not store potssium and depletes it rapidly - she is now taking 2X the "normal" daily dosage as a preventative after 3 more attacks since she came home that were successfully treated with the potassium efervescent tabs...These things are very frightening and she blacks out completely and has no recall of them at all...sometimes she has no idea that they are about to happen, sometimes she feels them coming on.

We see her Dr again Monday - all the tests from the hospital were normal, so there is no other obvious cause.

Thanks again - it was helpful to me.
