Things you do that make you a rebel
Me, I never let my food "stand" in the microwave for an extra two or three minutes because that's how I roll.

1. Apparently... at least ONCE...
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
...I CHEWED the worm.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
I didn't know this until one day a very angry friend of mine (she got
over it almost immediately) walked up to me in a bar and told me that
her friends thought she was "disgusting personified" because she had
CHEWED the worm at the bottom of their bottle of mezcal and showed
it to everybody before she swallowed.
.
.
.
I have conflicting feelings about this... ... ... ... because.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
...she then told me (I am very embarrassed, while at the same time EXTREMELY proud to admit)...
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
...that she learned this "tradition" from watching me.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Yay, me!!!!!
.
.
.
.
.
Arribe! Arribe! Andale! Andale! (English: Up! Up! Go on! Go on!)
.

.
A rebus! A rebus! And Delay! And Delay!
.
.

2. I put mayo on my hot dogs and everyone hates my guts for it.
Not really hates my guts. But they think I'm a space alien for doing it.

Have done it since I was about 6.

That's just for starters.

I'll think of more in a bit.

9. Living in Germany I used to do as the Germans do...
And put mayo on my french fries. Of course that's what you get with your order at any fast food chain.

On the sign when you walked in, Special: Big Mac, large fries and a beer for....

And you could bring your pets in with you too.

13. Yes! I love mayo on fries too.
I used to kid that mayo alone was one of the food groups.

16. Picked up the habit of mayo on fries in Germany, too...
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
...although now, if I can, I'll put a dollop of ketchup on one
side and a dollop of mayo on the other side of my fries.
.
Mixing the two together in that faux Russian dressing combo
just diminishes the joy of each different taste.
.
Like malt vinegar on them, too... although I picked THAT up,
not in England, but from Long John Silver's and the Jersey Shore.
.
M-m-m-m-m, smothered in brown gravy (Michigan-raised, I was).
.
Or chili and cheese.
.
My favorite BBQ joint in town serves dirty fries -- covered with
your choice of BBQ meat, cheese, and sauce. Filling and CHEAP!!!

8. I assume you mean beyond the obvious.
Those things being:
  • I'm a chain-smoking hard-drinking gun-toting prick with an HST-inspired tattoo.
  • I read 1000 pages a week on average and don't own a TV.
  • I quote Rules For Radicals constantly. Also Fight Club.
  • I'm probably the best conversationalist you'll ever meet. I also frequently prefer to send handwritten notes and traditional calling cards to people over more modern forms of communication.
  • I've been told I dress like a French pimp...a lot.
  • I'm self-taught in the field of Humanities to a level competitively on-par with doctoral candidates.
  • Cary Grant is my spirit animal. I am the most charming asshole on planet Earth.
  • I'm rather a radical gender egalitarian and my friends would tell you that my ex-gf (and the one before her and the one before that and so on) was definitely the masculine gender-role-player in our relationship.
  • I dismissively refer to people who annoy me as "fucko".
  • I am committed to public service. I steal Ayn Rand's and F.A. Hayek's books from the public library.
  • I'm an anti-incrementalist anti-pacifist avowed-leftist class-warrior. (My coworkers are refreshingly liberal for bankers thankfully.)
  • I sympathize with "eco-terrorists" and animal-liberationists.

All those things being given. What makes me a rebel?
  • I like ballet. I love it. I think it's the most beautiful thing in the world and wish I could be that graceful. The great unrequited crush of my life is a ballerina. (Admit it. You didn't see that coming...alas, her great life-long crush is Ron Paul.)

I don't have any objection to the above but I like assert my individuality and feel it would be difficult to do if I was like almost all of my friends who have very cool tattoos and piercings. oh and I stick it to the man, every chance I get. I hear his name is Charley or Mister Charley or maybe it's Charles...something like that.

Many people mistake me for a conservative or moderate before they meet me, which can be handy in Montana.

23. I turn over conservative books in the book store.
I know... I'm only making more work for some underpaid clerk, but I can't stand looking at those ugly repuke faces while I'm browsing.

And maybe, just maybe, the manager will put their propaganda crap in a less conspicuous place.

Prominent placement in bookstores is paid for by publishers.
