RIP Snuggles

My Gentleman friend's parents have three cats and one of them was named Snuggles that they rescued from the shelter. Jason told me how affectionate Snuggles always was and loved everyone. I was really looking forward to meeting him someday.

Anyway, last week Snuggles jumped down from Jason's Dad's lap,went to the food dish, and fell over with a stroke.They rushed him to the vet but it was too late.

I am sorry I never got to meet you, Snuggles. Have fun with Dolly and Piggy and I will meet you later.

Safe passage to the beautiful cat Snuggles...

Sometimes I think a sudden death like that is almost better, since the little soul doesn't suffer long...

Of course, the downside is that nobody gets to say goodbye...

I know you're going through a lot right now and this doesn't help. Poor thing. But I agree with CP that it's kind of a blessing (for him) that it was quick.

They aren't ready now, but when they adopt again they are going to adopt an adult female kitty. Snuggles was an adult when they got him.
