i dont post anything serious so i usually dont have problems
but i see a trend in several threads i am reading where the intent of the OP is lost in all the threadjacking
seems rude
and i wondered if i would be out of line when i see it happening to my posts to try to stop it
i think its the new diversion tactic
just steal the whole thread
one poster says an outrageous statement which is commented on ad nauseum
ruins the whole damn thread
and i wont even start with the alleged "sense of humor" of about 99.97654% of DUers
other than that whats up with you?

I tend to be serious over there, and less so here.

I don't think you can actually stop that sort of comment that I saw there. It's a losing battle, I fear...

Once a thread is posted, it's like sending your child out into the world. You really have zero control.
