I thought I would be tired and sore today but....
have more energy and the pain is less. Let me begin to say I am 68 and have the aging pains. Yesterday my daughter needed me to care for my 9 mo grand daughter all day, I said sure. My grand daughter is the love of my life. This little one can move faster than my eyes blink. I lifted her so many times, carried her around, crawled on the floor, bent down, was up and down, sat on hard tile and was used as her climbing hill. I loved every minute of it but could not do that every day. I thought I would be sore and tired out, I am the opposite today.

The one thing I had a difficulty was --- changing a diaper while the little one is wanting to turn over, sit up and trying to stand. Geez, I was breaking out into a sweat. I finally got the diaper changed and dressed her while she was standing and wanting to move. This is why the elderly do not have children. Grandmas are meant to be grandmas not mothers. God knew what he was doing. There is a flow in life and I am happy to be at the end flow.

I did sleep through the night which I never do and I am not sore today. That is a plus. My grand baby is the love of my life.

4. It gets easier.
I remember those wiggly baby days. I took my 3 year old grandson from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. so mama & papa could go to a wedding. It was tiring but so much easier because he is so verbal & fun to be with. My plan was simple, keep him busy & keep throwing food at him. Junk food, good food. His only complaint was Yaya wouldn't give him a cookie. Yeah, that was after the donut holes & before McDonald's!
Enjoy those baby days. They are so fleeting.
