7. Once, I flew from Philly to Atlanta with my cat in a carrier under my seat...

.
.
...and I had gotten a tranquilizer from her vet for the flight.
.
.
It never really knocked her out, but the translucent membranes slid
up from the bottom and covered MOST of her eyes -- and she kept up
a constant, BARELY audible "ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" sound thru
the whole flight.
.
Security? There was a very young guy being trained by an older woman
and she told him to show her what to do with a cat in a carrier.
.
He picked up the carrier, looked in at the cat for a good 10 or 15
seconds, turned back to her with a HUGE grin on his face and said,
"This cat's fucked UP!!!"
.
I started laughing and I have to hand it to her, without cracking
a smile or missing a beat she said, "Yes, it IS tranquilized" and
had him have me remove her so he could check out the carrier.

He was absolutely right.

And never stopped making that constant noise 'til hours later.
