4. Three things:

1.) Kanye was right about Taylor Swift, he just picked a terrible venue to express those beliefs. For the love of vanity, he should have let the girl have her moment. He has years to shit all over her career. She's going to be forgotten before next New Year's just like whatsherface and that other one and that person who sang that song. Oh, yeah...can't forget that other one either. Or Justin Guarini.

2.) The vast majority of close-door buttons in public elevators are deactivated. Typically they're set to only function in "firefighter" mode. This is for both public-convenience and safety reasons.

3.) If the damned button worked, I'd do that too sometimes. Some days I need a lift to myself while I compose my thoughts and drink my latte so other people don't die horribly.

He's been rather shrewd with his earnings to date, much like his mentor, Jay-Z. Not only does he own his own label (and he is an exceptional judge of hip-hop and R&B talent if nothing else) he is diversely invested. Neither one of them ever has to record another track to keep making money hand over hand. A dickhead he might be, but he's not headed to the poorhouse.

Lots of truly creative people are massive assholes. (Just ask Julian Schnabel or Christian Bale or Gore Vidal; oh wait, they're all notorious shitheads who'd never give you the time of day. They're also very-exceptional at what they do.) You seem really nice by comparison, but I don't see you averaging a multi-platinum album every 6 months as a producer or every 18 months as a recording artist for the past decade.
