the words line dance
through my head
they enchant
sing and
make me
a fool

more than I already am


some days it’s all obscure
but I am driven
to
dissolve
who I am
with these words

it’s hard

life holds me
poetry says

where I’ve
been

Which is saying something.

The phrase "line dance" just jumped out at me, and I saw it for what it was: the truth.
