Just saw Primus and Gogol Bordello live

Fantastic show, if a bit short (well, ok, 4 hours, but still). And Primus didn't play "Tommy The Cat," which annoyed me.

I think I know why they didn't... only one encore, which is unusual compared to set lists from other concerts on this tour.

Some asshole threw a beer bottle, half full, at Les. Or, at least onstage, onto his equipment (all his pedals, his bass, etc).

He was fucking PISSED. But he didn't walk off, or anything, which would have pissed me off even more. He bitched about it for a while, and basically said he was more pissed that he was pissed, and felt that it was affecting his playing. I have a feeling he vetoed a second encore.

Still, great show, in a great venue (only 5K people, with nice grass areas to sit on between sets)

oh, and 3 members of GB came onstage with Primus, and they all played a cover of Tom Waits' "I'm Big in Japan" :D

they do have one fairly cute girl in the band, but she's kind of useless... backup singer that you never hear, and percussion that doesn't do anything louder than the drum kit.

whatever, it's still a great live show; almost no pause between songs, and insanely high energy
