My mother hated this movie because it was too realistic about the depression.

4. Yes, Tom Joad is a hero,,, And that's one of the better books and movies

of the 20th Century! Wish I got that channel.

The film is the "Hollywood" version, if you can believe it.

Wonder why this isn't out on DVD in the US?
