5. Trick Question....
(Note I do not accept Berman's corrupted retconning of the Trek Universe)

Humans made First Contact with the vulcans shortly after obtianing warp tech from Zefram Cochrane WHO WAS FROM ALPHA CENTAURI, NOT FUCKING EARTH!!!!

16. sorry but
Regardless of purity issues, there's over two hours of film in which Zefram Cochrane of Earth builds a warp drive inside a missile, which catches the attention of a Vulcan ship. The Vulcans land on Earth to meet humans in the town where Cochrane lives.

I'll give you a hint: it's in the western United States.

9. Berman also got Paramount to nix a Sulu-based series because such a series

would hurt HIS franchise's continuity (TNG, Deep Sleep 9, Voyeur, and later and equally crappy spinoffs).

Then the jerk-off goes and changes his own continuity. x(

I hate him. Even Shatner is 50 thousand million times better...

Edit: Harshness...

10. I'm sorry that's incorrect
There are no planets in the Alpha Centauri system, so it's imposible for a human to be from there.

18. Roger Korby
And the actor who played him was probably gay...

The story "What Little Girls Are Made Of" had some nice topics, but Doctor Who's "Four to Doomsday" had a slightly more interesting take... but Trek did get there first. Except for the Borg, Dr Who got there first in 1966. :D

22. Any more guesses for first contact city?
More hints:

Western US.

At least one UFOP ship is named after it.

Close to the first National Park on Earth.

24. No mention of a town
The renowned Terran American scientist and developer of warp drive on his world (AD 2030-2117?), an eccentric genius who became a reluctant hero. Cochrane launched his warp test vessel Phoenix from an abandoned Titan missile silo in remote Montana and unwittingly sparked first contact for Earth with a passing Vulcan ship on April 5, 2063. (In a temporarily altered timeline, the launch and contact were sabotaged by the Borg and led to an isolated and easily assimilated Earth, but history was restored by the efforts of the U.S.S. Enterprise-E crew.)

44. CORRECT
That comes from the Voyager episode "One Small Step". Encountering an energy mass, Voyager finds the lost Ares IV spacecraft and the body of Lt Kelly. Lt. Kelly survived for a while and recorded a diary. He mourns that he will never know who won the World Series. At the end of the show, as the crew is preparing to torpedo Lt. Kelly's body into space, 7 of 9 leans over the torpedo and whispers, "Yankees in six".
