I also gotta say that Marmite is perhaps Britain's greatest gift to the world.
Enjoying some toast with Marmite now, and a nice bowl of miso egg-drop soup with mushrooms.

Yummy!

I know some of you don't like Marmite, and that's okay - it is an awfully strong and weird taste. But you who have not tried it yet: give it a shot!

3. I lived in England for several years,
and I never managed to develop a taste for this stuff. Onions pickled in malted vinegar - sure. The same vinegar on fish and chips (french fries) - you bet. Marmite? Nah. I could get it into my mouth, but just couldn't ever convince my mouth to swallow ....
