Twins Fans Could Lose Out On TV Coverage This Season

TWINS BLACKOUT?

Well, it just might happen.

Commissioner Bud Selig tried to get rid of the Minnesota Twins completely and that move failed.

Now the Twins have opted for a survival move that appears to have taken them out of this market.

By taking over the cable market with the Victory Sports network the Twins are out demanding a higher price for the small-market product.

Since that move it appears us folks way out here will be the ones to suffer.

On Monday we were told by the good folks at Midcontinent Communications at this point it's not looking good for this season.

That would mean no television coverage, and that is coupled with a lack of decent radio coverage in this market.

What's a fan to do?

This move will no doubt anger a lot of loyal fans who consider a day without the Twins comparable to a day without sunshine.
