he seems to be doing ok and sends the message "I'm doing OK, say thanks to everybody"

He wasn't feeling well the last few days and of course wouldn't listen to me (ahem!) and go in last week. I knew when he wasn't posting or e-mailing yesterday that he must have gone finally. Called the hospital this morning and confirmed but they were busy poking and prodding so had to wait to actually talk to him.

He sounded ok - not fully healthy, but not all out of it like the first time he did this to me (it is all about me you know)

He will probably be out in a couple days. He has some other worries/stresses related to this (it is the wonderful compassionate country/health system of the USofA and even worse the state of Arizona, after all) so keep him in your thoughts. He is a good guy.

I KNOW he is going to appreciate this thread a LOT. Thanks to all of you who replied - it means a lot to me too.

I just talked to MFM (thanks for the mental kick, Old Troop) and he sounded MUCH better. They made him walk around today and may let (make) him go home as early as tomorrow. He is already thinking of comix/pix in his computer files, so get ready!

I know he is going to be so touched when he sees how many of you sent good wishes - heck you even have me believing it may have worked! He sounded pretty bad the first day and almost normal today, so between the medicine and the thoughts something sure helped!
