I just had a sandwich of American Cheese and raw onions topped with salt and pepper. Mmmm. My grandfather taught me it many moons ago.
What's your favorite unusual combination of simple ingredients?

cuz I like it anytime. American cheese/mustard/bread and butter pickles sandwich. I've always loved it, ate it every morning when I was pregnant with my son. I also like peanut butter and honey sammies.
Pepperoncini wrapped in Swiss cheese. YUM.
