1. That child needs a babysitter, he is constantly getting into a situation
where are his parents? And why does the dog have to watch the child, a dog is not an appropriate child caretaker?

I loved that show, I wanted a dog like Lassie.

3. The real question is how many times does he have to fall down that well...
...before they either lock him in his room or board up the well or BOTH?

That show was a regular weekly part of my life. I hate to say "they don't make shows like that any more," but...well, times are different. Even if they did, there weren't enough car chases and explosions and gratuitous sex to make it appealing to the 2010 TV audience.

:-(

2. Depends on which time it was. By the tenth, I'd let him die.

The being on one end of the leash is supposed to be smarter than the being on the other...sometimes it is difficult to tell which is which...

5. That's right, Lassie must first acknowledge the need for help...
...before she can GET help.

7. Since all 7 or so "Lassie" dogs were males, peeing down the well was the obvious choice.

8. I'd save the little * and then sell my story to..
the highest bidder and then try to get a reality television show going on
around this mess.
