Workers Forced To Wear Tight T-Shirts With Provocative Slogan
<snip>

CLOTHING chain Westco has withdrawn a directive forcing staff to wear tight-fitting T-shirts bearing a provocative slogan.

Staff complained that the T-shits had exposed them to sexual harassment from customers.

Westco shop assistants say the tight T-shirts, which have "Stop pretending you don't want me" printed on them, had sparked a steady flow of lewd comments from male customers.

Staff were told in a memo they must wear the T-shirts and if they refused they would be sent home.

1. I'm all for tight tshirts on women!
Reminds me of Seinfeld episode where Elaine complained about waitresses at her favorite diner being hired because they had large breasts. It turned out that the waitresses were all daughters of the owner. Funny show, lol.

2. Sex sells................
corporate America knows it and will continue to use it and their employees to that end. I'm glad someone had the balls (or ovaries) to stand up to these assholes.
Watching how corporations advertise convinces me that they think we're all total morons and will swallow any half baked advertising campaign they throw at us.

3. Australia, not USA
Though we have a rotten corporate environment these days I think it would be hard to get away with this in a retailer. Hooters can do it though.
