You seem immune to Windex and carpet cleaner - but the STP Belt Dressing - that seems to send a message, and I got a buzz in the process. But still I see one here, one there...so I play smoke monster to you now and swoop down and nab you one by one - still, a straggler or two roaming the periphery. You're vast armies are gone, you little mindless drones - dead, all dead, as you will be too...soon. I shall defend my house, whatever the cost may be. I shall fight you on the porch. 4. Had that problem.

Sprayed them with Windex® and used a paper towel. They didn't come back. Some one also told me that Orange peel stuff works great too.

5. My solution was,

Terro Ant Baits work well - it actually causes more ants for a couple of days as they come in and eat the bait, but then suddenly they all disappear. Also, keep all food and water out of reach of any ants. For me this includes the cat dishes - I have to put the food down for the cat and then store it in a sealed container right after he's done. Same for the water. No dishes can be left out with any trace of food on them. If there is no food or water available to the ants in the house, they won't come in. Leave the outside to them.

in case. Works wonders. You have to get over the gross out of more ants before they disappear, but they disappear. And it's cheap.

You know, usually I'd help a bug out of my house, even those damn palmetto bugs that always find a way in in the steamy SC summers, but ants? Satanic minions they be. They come in armies, always in armies. I'll try some of the remedies mentioned above, but once inside, I shall have no mercy. Let it be known throughout the ant kingdoms, any attack on my dwelling (or car) will be met with certain doom.
