it's driving me crazy--i can find a couple quotes by this person but i can't find who this person is/was -- i'm googling and all i see are the quotes.
can someone please help?

I wonder if J.J. Furnas should be J.C. Furnas. It's a shot in the dark, but would make sense, considering the nature of the internet.
