12 hours later I ride my 4 wheeler up the hill and there they are standing like two idiots waiting on the bus home.I may possibly have the two stupidest dogs on the planet.they between them probably ran him off but they just sat like bumps on a log afterwards.12 hours later they come home to me blaring GnR on the 4 wheeler stereo..proving they are stupid.
Have my babies back..that's what counts :)
and yes I have a cd player and about a 1000 watts of speaker on my 4 wheeler

1. My dogs have yet to see a black bear while they are outside |
|
I don't know what they would do. Probably lead the bear right to our back door. We've all seen them from the safety of our house. Glad your pups are okay. Glad there weren't any cubs tagging along.

they won't get killed.I had ONE that got caught by a bear...the others learned.
200 odd pound of shepperd vs an angry bear...the bear will run every time

3. That's good to know. My dogs are a Catahoula Leopard |
|
80 lbs. and an Australian Cattle Dog 50 lbs. The Catahoula is tough - bred to hunt boars and herd. Both dogs may be mixed breeds - got them at dog shelters while living in CA. I'm really not sure what they would do if they saw a bear on the trail or near our yard while they were out there.

6. Two of my uncle's dogs took a tumble with a bear |
|
Two separate occasions. One of the dogs was medium sized but the other one was a daschund mix. No one got hurt either time.
