But most of ww2 is time locked by Nuke development, was going to write a story about that.
Any change to ww2 would push the nuke development outside of war, or to bad side, and then there would be many nukes on first usage, or a bad side would use them without thinking.
WW1 locked up by that also, for the most part, or the conclusion of it.
The story I was going to write includes the use of locks while things occur to keep them from being changed. Hence why significant change is important when fixing things, or so the story would go.
Note I don't believe in temporal lore, but like William Shatner and the Star Trek Series :)
There is a funny thing about temporal lore, why would people worry about 'future people' you could change society and change them by every action. Although I was going to write a story about temporal lore, where a group that ran the reset crew, they did not believe in suffering in the past just because the future was in temporal shielded future, and they mounted a raid on the complex and took down the shielding.
Pretty good story, they did it all by hand to keep it from being known, then when taking the base, they had to punch in the changes, all the smallest of ripples but timed for resonance, and done when the shield is down, so they knew it might mean they would end.
In the story, they can't hold the network control room long enough, so one of the character kisses his wife good by, grabs the final changes and jumps through the portal.
The TV series of the show would have him going around having to make minor changes to peoples lives to give them the chance to show the worth they already have that fits into the puzzle of the resonance wave. A cup of coffee for someone setting off a chain of events, or a bus ticket for someone, anything someone might need to make a difference. (sort of like TZ episode with guy with things people need) And also a bit impromptu where adjustments get made along the way.
In the story, he thinks the wife is will be gone, but does not give up hope while making adjustments, and sees her in many adjustments.
However in the story, the changes create a society where instead of people messing with past, they bring people from the past into the future, a different direction, and get her out before she fades from the temporal wake. (that part is complicated)
Thought it would make a good pilot, then TV series.
