1. I have a question for you.
Do you believe some are given grace to be able to sin.

Or do you believe grace is given after sin to help people think and learn on things.

Note your answer could be distorted by which one of those you believe.

6. I hesitate to discuss religion in the lounge, but...
.By definition, grace is God's unmerited favor

All can receive it but it surely isn't given prior to sinning as a get out of jail card for sin. that said, as all are sinners, grace is a means to closer relationship with God. It simply isn't as thin as learning from mistakes, rather the point is to bring one into a closer relationship to God, to be able to walk more closely with Him.

8. Surprising response from you.
You post opposite of me most of the time.

I consider your comment the same as I think.

2. Early Man discs 1 and 2 -
Some of the best music to sleep and/or meditate to. Great when you're on the beach alone at 6:00 A.M. - a rarity in Ohio.

3. I discovered Roach in a logical progression from Harold Budd & Brian Eno
I've been an Eno fan for decades. Discovered his collaboration with Budd, "The Pearl." From Budd, I discovered Robin Guthrie. As I dug a little deeper into ambient, I discovered Roach. His music is rapidly becoming my soundtrack for 2010...things are just too brutal. I need to continually take it down a few notches and don't want to do it with chemicals.

I don't care for his Tangerine Dream-style stuff at all...that EuroThrob crap (I can listen to Tangerine Dream if I want that). But I will check out Early Man...thanks for the recommendation. So far I have:

Afterlight
Darkest Before Dawn
A Deeper Silence
Destination Beyond
Dreamtime Return
Dynamic Stillness
Immersion 3
Live At Grace Cathedral
Mystic Chords & Sacred Spaces
Sigh Of Ages

5.  Vince Guaraldi at Grace Cathedral (1965)
Another time for sure, but still a special piece by a special person for a very special place

The reception and success of the event paved the way for other artists to follow; Duke Ellington, Cal Tjader...
