This is one of maybe two "go-to songs" that I have -- when I can't think of anything
specific that I want to hear, I'll go to this song as I could listen to it a dozen or more
times a day.

My rhythm guitarist and I were the most prolific songwriters in our all-original band. We
would often get together by ourselves to write, bouncing riffs and lyrics and melodies
off each other. They were great sessions.

But sometimes he would put Dead Can Dance on the CD player... and an hour later, we'd
realize that we had, once again, gotten totally lost in their music and didn't get a
thing accomplished with our own.

And that was OK.

I am sure I have heard it before on Jeff Rogers' show. Interesting to put the visuals/band/instruments to the somewhat familiar sound!
