If you marry a woman/man for money, what would you do if they lose the money?

Just a hypothetical question...I am not and never have been married for any reason.

1. Dump their destitute ass, I s'pose.

But my answer is purely theoretical. If I were to have the opportunity to marry for money, I would have to have something to offer that rich person in exchange. Normally the deal seems to involve money in exchange for youth and attractiveness. Alas, I have neither.

2. I think that many people do if that was their only attraction

As for me, I would have never married someone primarily for money. I lived through that when my mom married my former evil step father. She finally divorced him after 10 years even though she wanted to about 2 weeks after the wedding. One partner having much more money can lead to severe imbalances in the relationship and the poorer partner may feel that they need to put up with a lot, just as people are often more willing to put up with a bad job that pays well.

3. 24x7 non-stop wild monkey sex until the debt collectors repossess the house - with us still in bed.

Of course we could probably fill the basement with water and make money renting it out as a scuba diving training center.

Or hold classes in underwater Bavarian basket weaving.

There's also smoothing out the corners with concrete and turning it into a skateboard park.

Oh, the possibilities. They're just limitless, aren't they?
