Had a shirt in the closet I wanted to wear but it had some closet creases in it. Miz t. was doing some ironing so I asked her to give this a quick press. "Sure."
Later she brought the shirt in on a hanger. "There's a pair of sunglasses in the pocket, but I just ironed around them." "You ironed AROUND them?" "Yeah." "Um...why didn't you just take them out of the pocket and then iron the shirt?" "Oh, it was just as easy to iron around them."
I'm wondering if this is the first sign of dementia.
p.s. It was a small pair of half reading glasses. Easy enough to 'iron around' I guess. :eyes:

1. Does your wife, who irons your shirts, |
|
know that you're giving her the :eyes: on a public board because you forgot where you put your 'half reading glasses?'

5. You did ask for a "quick press", so that is what she did.... |
|
and now you complain? I bet she is thinking you have early signs of demenia for forgetting the glasses in the pocket.
