1. You may be seeing a cached page

try clicking the Refresh button.

If that doesn't work, it could have to do with what browser you're using.

2. Yeah, it's probably the browser you're using.

I know for a fact that Google absolutely hates the supremely superior browser Opera, to the point that they are constantly upgrading their stuff with bad code and standards ;)

I set mine to "Identify as Firefox" and it suddenly worked! So, I had to set my page to identify as an inferior browser for it to work :P

7. I had to backhack from www.google.com/firefox to just www.google.com

/firefox seems to point to the plain vanilla interface.

I bet if you had done a refresh it would have appeared. google.com wasn't in my cache since I usually use the Google search box in my browser's toolbar.
