WOKE UP THIS MORNING
went to work and found out that I and fifty of my co-workers are laid-off.The first time I have been out of work for twenty years. I am fortunate I have my life, health and strength and marketability. Some of my co-workers were in tears. I hope they find their way. Looks like I will have plenty of time to get on the repugs nerve. Because with no job it will be my job to GIVE THEM HELL!!!!!!!!!

7. I know how to make money
even if I must crank out the Barbecue pit and start selling rib and chicken dinners to friends, I will make it.It is those who can't do anything else and see no hope that worries me. The rate of depression is high and frustration is at dangerous levels in our country right now.And a lot of them do not have a support system in place. And thanks for loving the attitude. Being angry only will get me a headache. But sticking it to the repugs on a daily basis, priceless.

8. Yep, just like that.
Hey there were some in tears. Some saying what were they going to do. I am truly, truly blessed. I have a big family and cool friends who stick together through these tough times. I seem to be okay. I know I may have to give up a few things but its better than having nothing. I guess coming from a big family I am glad to not know what I will be missing. Didn't have it anyway:9 :9 :9

For some all their identity is tied to their job.
Glad you have other outlets and resources.
Here's wishing you all the best.

13. Well Kinda
but not so much. Look I have had it hard before, I am not scared. My instinct into humanity lets me have empathy for those who are not as fortunate as I. I could cry, have a fit, cuss, scream, even get physical. But what would it solve? Oh Hell to the No, would I ever let them think they have me down just because of a job. You think I don't know what is up? They think that if they starve us to death we will cave in to them stealing the economy blind and turn our heads and let them do it. I will grow my own foods first. Just like I did for the last four years. Lost weight and got healthier for it.Kiss my Ass. I know it is rough but before they make me holler uncle they must come better than that.I know that the top two percent are holding on to the money acquired over the last ten years and think I am going to act as if they have the keys to my destiny? I think not!!!!!!!!!

12. I can relate. The same thing happened to me.
Fortunately I was called back along with ONE other person. Slowly but surely they are hoping to bring back the others.
There were 35 of us.

Good luck, love your attitude!

17. It's quite a blow, being laid off.
I had a few days "hint", when I got scheduled for a meeting with the boss, and no reason given. So I came in early, packed my shit, and took it to the car. If I was wrong, I could always haul the stuff back in. I wasn't wrong.

Anyway, it still sucked to hear that my services were no longer required.

Give the repugs hell? Dunno, I think they just enjoy the attention. But if you can help Bernero, go for it.

Best of luck with whatever you're planning: job search, retirement, whatever.

18. What type of business, Ms?
I fear for my sales office in the metro-detroit area.

Better workers than I have been let go over the last
couple of years, just because the "herd" needed to
be culled and they were on the wrong half of the
spectrum at the time.

The Doors - Roadhouse Blues
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwfmfMBLZiM

Ah keep your eyes on the road,
Your hands upon the wheel.
Keep your eyes on the road
Your hands upon the wheel.
Yeah, were going to the roadhouse,
Gonna have a real good-time.
Yeah, the back of the roadhouse,
Theyve got some bungalows.
Yeah, the back of the roadhouse,
Theyve got some bungalows.
They dance for the people
Who like to go down slow.
Let it roll, baby, roll.
Let it roll, baby, roll.
Let it roll, baby, roll.
Let it roll, all night long.
Do it, robby, do it!
You gotta roll, roll, roll,
You gotta thrill my soul, alright.
Roll, roll, roll, roll-a
Thrill my soul.
Ashen-lady.
Ashen-lady.
Give up your vows.
Give up your vows.
Save our city.
Save our city.
Ah, right now.
Well, I woke up this morning
And I got myself a beer.
Well, I woke up this morning
And I got myself a beer.
The futures uncertain
And the end is always near.
Let it roll, baby, roll.
Let it roll, baby, roll.
Let it roll, baby, roll.
Let it roll, all night long.

:toast: <-----to your attitude, man!
