1. I thought they would show me when I hit 1000. But then I found out

(by being ridiculed, of course), that 5000, or 10,000 was where you had to be to be cool. Just keep posting.

I think it is funny that some of the people who are critical of newbies do a lot of "K&R" as a post. Not that kicking a good post up and recommending it is a bad thing.
