38. There was some bad flooding here.

It's the first time I remember a storm coming straight up from the south like that, and it seems to have filled all the creeks and ditches above us, letting them flow back into our already-flooded creeks. Did a lot of damage to a few of my favorite places. The worst part is no one really expected it. Killed a woman who drove around a barricade, who I guess thought her SUV could make it through six feet of running water. Really sad, no one can figure out why she did it.

How was San Antonio? I love that city! Next time tell me earlier, maybe we can do something.
