I fell in love today
with a three-month-old calico kitty. :loveya:

Sorry, no pics, but a backstory: As many of you know, I work for a social service agency. Her human came in requesting emergency assistance. While the paperwork was being processed, I had myself a full, proper cat fix. Purrrrrr....

Wait, it gets better: I met proud patriot's dogs on Sunday. One of them lived with a homeless person for the first six months or so of his puppyhood. Plus, she, too has a calico -- but I was never able to get close to her.

So I finally got my calico fix...

What will happen to kitty and human? I wonder about this country sometimes. :eyes:

3. One of my roommates in the Army took in a wintertime calico stray...

...not feral, but no collar and wandering around crying in deep
February snow. Little teeny-tiny ball-o-multi-colored fluff.

Assholes.

She was a sweetheart, and bonded to us almost immediately... but
she was TERRIFIED of "strangers". When we'd have company, she'd
hide behind the couch and G-R-O-W-L. That li'l bit-o-nothin' had
this FRIGHTENING deep loud vicious growl. Our guests would shift
around in their seats VERY nervously and finally ask us if our guard
dog was chained up.
