...the woman who was helping me set up a savings account asked what I did for a living. I told her, and she said "You should talk to my boyfriend." He runs a nearby restaurant. She wrote his name, the address of the restaurant, and the days/times of the week it's best to catch him. "And," she said, "He's part of a large Greek family, and between them, they own about six other restaurants and businesses. Introduce yourself to him, and then have him introduce you to everybody else."

I told her that based on the times she gave me, I'd plan to go on Thursday night. She smiled and said "I'll be there." I told her it was a pleasure meeting her and thanked her profusely for the referral.

I learned a long time ago that you celebrate when you have the check in your hand, so the purpose of this post is to acknowledge that no matter how bad things are right now, there are still good, kind people out there who are willing to help others.

I excel at this kind of thing, because I love doing restaurant Websites...I will do my homework, as I always do, and it will require no effort on my part to show up with enthusiasm.

She told me that they make excellent burgers there...$9.00 for a burger, fries, and a shake. In this valley, those are insanely low prices.
