Canvassing can be kinda fun

I walked a few streets today for fall election GOTV

You get a little view of people you'd never meet otherwise

Ring the doorbell. No answer

Looks like they hardly use the front door, so I go around to side to drop a piece of lit

Guy's working in his back garden. Can't quite place the music: good smooth syncopation; sixties motown, I think

We chat pleasantly a few minutes. I make the marks in my clipboard and move on

I should have asked what that music was

People were very nice, even though there was a Steelers game on TV at the time! LOL
