Of the things that piss me off - as you know, it's legion - the greatest is not having Jedi powers

And not even so much not having a light saber (though that would rock) or being able to affect people's minds -

what pisses me off is that I don't have the capacity to make shit come to me or fly away from me, like using the Force to close a door, make a remote fly to my hand, or a light switch to go up or down.

is it so much to ask for a universe in which we can at least have something like the Force to affect mass from a distance?!

of course, the poor will never understand the kind of suffering that comes from having to wait seconds for your staff to show up and will poo poo my pain... but, come on! I'm talking sometimes 5, maybe even ten, seconds before the staff show up.

Seriously. I can walk into a room and have shit break. I don't have to touch it or be near it.

And as bad as that is, it is still wayyyyy better than Mrs. Rat's Jedi Music Curse - when we were dating back in college, she could enter a room and have Belinda Carlile's "Heaven is a Place on Earth" come on the radio or MTV. Since then she has, thankfully, lost this power.
