I'll be the first to admit I'm not really a big Lady GaGa fan
Personally I think it's just because she's been everywhere so much it became too much.

But tonight at the MTV awards bringing those 4 soldiers, all who were either dismissed or left the military in protest because of DADT, well she earned my respect tonight.

1. Same here; what little of her music I've heard does nothing for me,
but she seems to have her heart in the right place as far as social/ political beliefs, and walking the walk with them. I didn't see the show you're talking about but thank you for posting about her doing this. Nice to hear.

4. Gaga is growing.
Not only is her popularity growing, but she's learning (as many other have already learned) that her celebrity offers her an opportunity to showcase causes. My hat is off to her for being bold enough to bring those soldiers with her! Good for Gaga!

5. She's been like that from the beginning. People just slam their minds shut before noticing.
She's been a LGBT activist and a feminist since before she became famous.

7. When she wore that meat bikini, it really touched me deep inside.
Always been a fan. I like her music too. She's having fun. You can't tell me that's not important for society.

8. I've tried listening to her music several times
and I've heard nothing that sounds so great.

It's fine that she's bringing good causes to those that need to hear it, but I've got better music to listen to :)

14. I actually like her quite a bit, which is weird because
it is not normally the type of music I go for.

My daughter went to see her at the Tacoma Dome and said she was advocating for the gay rights from the stage. Which is defiantly cool.
