Duct Tape
WD-40
Caulk
When it comes down to it, these are the only things you need in life. I have rid my home of everything except these items. As a matter of fact, I am currently posting from a can of WD-40.
That's right.

2. Yes you are correct...bungee cords |
|
When I used to travel to Dead shows, I made sure that I had a box of bungee cords. Seriously. I don't know why exactly...but there ya go.

9. Well, they kind of pull all the loose ends together. |
|
And, at Dead concerts, I'm sure there were some things that needed pulling together.
Example: Bungee the belt loops of two pair of jeans together so the couple doesn't get separated in the crowd.
See?
:hi:

3. And a channel lock wrench. You can't fix ANYTHING without one of those. |
|
Well, if you don't have one a hammer will do.

6. I was just thinking today.... |
|
I have to change my shower head, and I'm going to wrap some duct tape around the jaws of the channel locks so I can hold the shower arm with them without scratching it.

10. No, no, no, no and NO! That makes the wrench sticky (read on). |
|
Put a dish rag - the kind with the thick weave - over the shower arm and secure it with rubber bands on either side of the point you have to use the wrench on. It will come off easily. A better option is that rubber shit in a roll they sell for putting under throw rugs to keep them from slipping. You can get it at the Dollar Tree. Either way, put a tiny bit of petroleum jelly (or K-Y) on the threads before putting on the new shower head. That not only helps keep it sealed but it makes replacing it easier. Teflon tape will help with the seal, but not the removal. Use it near the arm end but not all the way down the threads.
We've got a double-head one with an elbow joint between the heads. Of course we usually shower together so that works well. Sometimes the showers last a bit longer than is technically necessary.

I've kludged a lot of things with safety wire and a pair of those twisty pliers.
