And I didn't really see the appeal of Angel until Riley showed up, after which I was praying for Buffy to get back to vampires. Until the Spike thing, at which point, I was kinda hoping the suicidally depressed Slayer would just kill herself already.

I don't think Buffy and Spike affair was very believable. They didn't seem to have the right chemistry. Buffy and Angel was much better. Spike was ok as a comical kind of character, but I never thought of him as sexy.

After Spike tried to rape Buffy, I was basically done with the series. I could not believe the writers had them still kind of together at the end of the show.
