3. On the topic of mercy.

Sometimes working for people hurt by many, can be mercy for those they hurt.

I have noticed there are some that when given mercy still hurt people, not to help people, but to help themselves.

I figure mercy and compassion is best, but what if a group keeps hurting people? Wouldn't mercy then be helping those that are being hurt, while trying to help those that hurt also.

Or something like that.


And I am still due beer and travel money from years ago, and many good experiences.

I thought I knew 'em all. Just read that Laurie played Ricky Nelson's girlfriend for a couple of episodes on "Ozzie and Harriet". Back then, the whole world was tuning in to watch Ricky perform at the end of the show.

7. America has such a high turnover rate of pop music, lots of great stuff gets buried and forgotten.

You likely never heard of The Collins Kids because they were never on Dick Clark's East coast TV show. Therefore, their images and songs never ended up in Dick's collection of distorted money-making-info-mercials.

This music was just before I was born as well. I had to go look for it and study it for years to learn to play it. I am glad to share the joy of great but forgotten American music and and I'm glad you dig it too!

Also, I owed you one for hooking me up with the Jimmy Buffet/Manatee info. Thanks...though I'm still a LONG way from being a Parrot Head.
