then she definitely has it. Put a towel over her immediately, in front of an open fire place for a couple of hours. Make a poultice of garlic, onion, and tomato.....she will be ready to eat directly after applying poultice.

Clearly comes from focus, Latin for fireplace, hearth, but the word foca doesn't seem to mean oven in Italian. At least not nowadays.
