Gimme some nominations for a Favorite Elton John Tune poll
You know you want to!

I'm for Empty Garden (Hey Hey Johnny), with very honorable mention going to Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding. What do y'all think? A poll will result if I get any noticeable degree of traction on this.

7. "Levon"
With "Tiny Dancer" coming in Second (though it went through a bout of being overplayed).

Here's another poll: Elton John songs that if I never hear again, it'll be too soon.

First place - Crocodile Rock
Second Place - Saturday Night's Alright for Fightin
Third Place - Any song featured anywhere in any full length disney animation.

23. Song for Guy
Uhhh..Great Piano?

Middle C at it's simplest. Geeez even a tone-deaf Irishman like me can play it.

Great on the 1992 Barcelona Concert DVD.

I also liked Sad Songs Say So Much.

32. "I Think I'm Going to Kill Myself"
I Think I'm Going To Kill Myself

Music by Elton John
Lyrics by Bernie Taupin

I'm getting bored
Being part of mankind
There's not a lot to do no more
This race is a waste of time

People rushing everywhere
Swarming around like flies
Think I'll buy a forty four
Give them all a surprise

Think I'm gonna kill myself
Cause a little suicide
Stick around for a couple of days
What a scandal if I died

Yeah I'm gonna kill myself
Get a little headline news
I'd like to see what the papers say
On the state of teenage blues

A rift in my family
I can't use the car
I gotta be in by ten o'clock
Who do they think they are

I'd make an exception
If you want to save my life
Brigitte Bardot gotta come
And see me every night

Also maybe Candle In the Wind (pre-Diana) -- in fact, if you put in Candle In the Wind, do specify which version you mean. (Just a thought.)
