Not so good for the thirsty, that.

5. I like V8 with Tabasco when I'm hungover.
But as a drink when you're just thirsty? No, not really.

10. No yuck!
A bloody Mary is the BEST for a hangover, but a spicy V8 will do just fine on work-days! :D

Trust me, I'm a pro!

At least for me. I don't know very many people who would think that V8 is a thirst quencher but Differnt Stokes....

15. the low-sodium version is good, but not for thirst
And contrary to their advertising, V-8 is not a beverage you drink with a meal. It *is* the meal.

17. 2nd vote for low sodium version
And I agree V8 is more the savory version of Ensure, a kind of solid food replacement.

I do like it though! :9

Makes a great Bloody Mary and soup stock!

19. I like it but if I'm actually thirsty I also drink water
If you've lost a lot of salt sweating or something, it might be good for thirst, but I think it is really just for the taste -- something nice to drink that is lower calorie than other juices.
