The Band, silly. :silly: Not Archduke Franz Ferdinand whose assassination started WWI.

I just heard about them on the radio this morning. What do you think? Are they worthwhile?

3. Heard of them!
I had a chance to see them at south by southwest this year, but I missed them. All reports are that they are pretty good.

I .... err got some tracks... not illegally or anything... They are very danceable.

5. I almost bought the cd last week.
They were recommended by an Aussie woman I met at the festival. Too bad there was something else I wanted to see more, or I'd have checked them out. I should go back to the record store and give it a listen. Ahhh...pay day is Thursday. :7

6. I've posted about them a couple of times.
But then I'm biased, they're from the same town I'm originally from. Despite that, they're damned good.

7. They were a block from my house on Friday
Empty Bottle had an unusual 7PM show featuring them. I noticed the higher than usual hipster quotient as I was scootering home from work. Unfortunately, I already had tickets to see the Proclaimers. :-)

8. You live a block from the Bottle?
Next time I'm down there, and too drunk to drive back to Wisconsin...

Don't be surprised if you find me passed out on your lawn! :P

I love the Empty Bottle. Best venue I've ever played.

I saw them last week when they came out to L.A. :) They are coming back to the U.S. in May, I think.
