1. My TV is pretty much only for PBS kids and video games.
If I do watch TV shows, I usually do it on Netflix. Sometimes I hook my laptop to the TV to watch movies...

2. Sports, Mystery, and that's pretty much it. We don't even rent a lot of movies.
I'm talking like one every three months. We have some DVDs of TV shows we like, but we don't even watch those often. If the TV is on -- and it's on maybe twice a week -- it's for sports.

Pay for basic cable, or pay for internet service. I chose wisely!

16. Me too. I love it when Liberals wax self righteous about not watching tv.
I know strict Pentecostals who believe that tv is worldly entertainment and will not have a set in their home and they're real self righteous about it as well. The opposite ends of the spectrum meet, how ironic.

5. I watch more then seven hours per week
Edited on Sun Sep-26-10 08:52 PM by bigwillq
I usually watch during the day, and in between my nap (work second shift), and then late night after I get home from work and/or from being out with friends.
Don't watch a lot of the primetime shows or news since I am working.

9. Thanks to Comcast, I never watch. The Basic offering is so bad
that i might as well have no TV at all. I keep it because should I drop the TV part of the package, the Internet price will rise to a lever higher than the two combined. Can't afford any of the packages that would offer me MSNBC or CNN.

I dust frequently to keep it looking good. It is plugged into a power bar which is switched off. No use wasting power running that and the DVD/VCR.

11. You need a category for people who replaced TV with internet.

12. I dunno. If you're watching tv shows on desktop, it's functionally a television.
Even if it's webcast shows, if it's just watching (ie, not interacting) then it's literally tele-vision. Just because there's a qwerty board doesn't make it not a boob tube.

13. No. Mostly I just browse the web. Very little internet TV watching.
But I indulge in HULU about once a month.
