Larry the Cable guy gives a 5 mil donation to a medical facility

I know I shouldn't, but I laugh when I watch his comedy routines. The first time I saw him playing the role of the guy with hip dysplasia I almost fell off the sofa, cackling so hard. I think it's because he's so good at self-deprecation that I can tolerate his irreverent moments.

Here's part of the article:

Dan Whitney made a big impression on Arnold Palmer Hospital Sunday night with a check for $5 million.

Whitney's alter ego, Larry the Cable Guy, made an even bigger impression on the crowd gathered at the Grand Cypress Resort for a party in celebration for today's first Git-R-Done Golf Classic at the Grand Cypress Golf Club.

The huge gift was for further development of the International Hip Dysplasia Institute at the Orlando hospital.

After Dr. Chad Price at Arnold Palmer Hospital helped cure their son, Wyatt, now 3, of his dysplasia when he was an infant, Whitney and his wife, Cara, made private donations to the hospital and Whitney raised money through appearances on "Family Feud" and "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?"

2. There was another one where he was performing a skit with two other people.
Might have been his show.

4. You know why I can tolerate him?
Because I visualize him pulling a Stephen Colbert. He does comes across so incredibly stupid, but in a funny way.
